NUKEM’s Radiation Protection Advisers deliver professional radiation protection
advice to clients who are involved in the application of radioactive material or
ionising radiation, varying from large nuclear decommissioning projects to small
commercial users.
In accordance with the Ionising Radiations Regulations 1999, all of our RPAs are accredited
by ‘RPA2000’, which is an HSE approved assessing body to ensure the competence of RPAs.
We help clients to comply with their statutory obligations by providing Health Physicists and
Radiation Protection Advisers (RPAs) who can be integrated into existing project teams to ensure
that all work, whether it be small movements of radioactive materials or large complex engineering
operations, is carried out within a robust system of radiological protection.
